I salute Bambu for the recall and what they are doing, those printers work with minimal interference. My first printer was a Wanhao i3plus. I love tinkering and I tinkered a lot. The second day of printing with no issues I decided to look at how it all worked. First I saw was the bed heater cable has scraped raw by the bottom hole to the board housing. It was days or hours away for an electrical disaster. No where that was mentioned anywhere. If I wasn’t a tinkerer….. CR10 cable snake was scraping away with the bed at the back. Bambu did that recall. None of those companies have done what Bambu did. Shameful about releasing a machine that is engineered with such flaws, But Bambu stepped up. Just that put great amount of respect. For non tinkered Bambu is a safer solution hands down in my opinion. I will keep loving and tinkering with my CR10. I will leave the workload to Bambu. Regardless of my opinion, thank you for making this informative video.

The market will determine what survives. If other companies step up their quality control then you have nothing to worry about. Bambu is not currently actively doing anything to other manufactures. The things that are happening to them are things they did to themselves. You cannot prevent a company doing a closed environment, nor is there anything wrong with them wanting to make money, that's one of the major requirements for running an effective company. If they were just cash grabbing then their customers would suffer long term. Is Bambu perfect? Of course not, but their devices are defiantly notably more user friendly than most. If their printers are as you say full of issues and faults then wait them out and watch them fail and prove everybody wrong. You are claiming their printers are faulty but you should admit that when they do fail the company tends to address their customers. The support is just not there in the same way for many other printers. Bambu serves the needs of a specific type of customer and you and many others are not it. Other manufactures target the hobbyists and tinkerers. There are more than enough customers across the globe for many companies to thrive. Ironically you are trying to kill Bambu's business model which could harm them long term while you sit there accusing them of harming the 3D printer space. BTW nothing about 3D printing succeeding or failing is life threatening. Whose life is being threatened? You come over as overly invested in this thing to an unhealthy level. I would recommend you speak to a professional. I am not joking or poking fun I am actually saying this with empathy and concern for you. Your hobby is not going anywhere, if you don't want to support a certain company for a variety of reasons then it's your right, just be kind enough to accept that others also have the right to not agree with you and choose a product that you may not support. It's a tool not a religion and treating it as such will likely end badly.

Nobody makes a print like the A1 Mini that's so easy to use for $300. Everybody else was jerking us around while Bambu kick them in the ass. Now everybody has to provide the same functionality. Bambu has resolved the shorting problem to most people satisfaction. Stop whining.

I just requested the DoC for the EU CE certification of all Bambu Lab products. If Bambu does not answer within the next week, I will involve the EU consumer agency which has the power to request the DoC AND all attched test reports. If Bambu Lab does not follow that either, the EU has the right to pull all Bambu Labs products of the market. I suspect that Bambu used a "modified" CE label which has the meaning "China Export"

Imagine owning a paper printer that would require a constant connection to the manufacturer...
